Colleen college admissions consultant Roswell Alpharetta Milton Atlanta

I have worked in and around education my entire adult life. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T). I was nominated as Student Intern of the year in my graduating class, and hold an Instructional II Teaching Certificate. I taught in private and public education before moving to Georgia in 2011, where I continued to coach and work with students while raising our two daughters with my husband.

I earned Professional Member status with the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), which requires demonstration of professional mastery and years of experience in the field. I am a Certified Educational Planner (CEP), the highest certification in the profession. The CEP designation is granted to educational consultants with significant professional experience who have passed a board-certified examination and demonstrate continued commitment to professional development and ethical practices.

Each year, I visit colleges and universities, attend professional conferences, pursue continuing education courses, and participate in professional webinars. I am also a member of SACAC, the Southern Association for College Admissions Counseling.

I guide high school and college transfer students through their applications in a stress-free environment. We work together on essays, resumes, the Common Application, interview preparation, researching summer opportunities, mapping high school courses, and extracurricular activities to form their ideal college/university list.

I use a step-by-step guide with my clients to find their ideal college/university fit. Together, we can build your child’s application using their voice to help them find the school where they will thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and professionally.
